Abstract:
A bike carrier that includes an extension support having a vehicle support end and a second end as well as a side rail structure supported by the extension support. The side rail structure has a first section extending to a first side of the extension support and a second section extending to a second side of the extension support, and the first and second sections are arranged for supporting a respective wheel of a bike when in use. The carrier device also includes a first wheel hold down device positioned on the first side of the extension support and an intermediate support device supported by the extension support (e. g. either directly or indirectly such as via an intermediate side rail section) so as to contact a frame component of the bike when in use. The intermediate support device has an upper frame contact section that is positioned, when is use, for contact with the lower sloping frame component of the bike which extends to the hub typically. The upper contact section includes a sloped neck section which includes a frame reception recess of a slope generally corresponding to that of the sloped frame section received in the recess.
A basket featuring a main body with a product capture reception area, a side wall, a bailing extension fixed to the side wall and a capture hook device fixed to the side wall. The capture hook device includes capture hook sections that are circumferentially spaced apart about the circumference of the main body of the basket and designed to engage a pot configured to receive the basket. In one embodiment, the basket capture hook device features a monolithic member with a common back wall that conforms to the curvature of the main body of the basket and from which common back wall the capture hook segments radially extend out from. In another embodiment, the capture hook segments are independent and separated circumferentially on the basket and designed to provide a locking function for a predetermined diameter reception pot. In a preferred embodiment, the basket is a turkey fryer basket and the capture hooks are of a material sufficient to support the weight of a previously oil immersed turkey and the basket includes drainage/steaming holes. The invention also includes a drain valve secured to the pot for drain off of cooking fluid.

Abstract:
A cooking rack for deep frying which includes a base, such as one formed of a plurality of spoke extensions, and a plurality of prongs extending up from the base. The rack further includes a lifting extension which is supported by the base such as by way of one or more foot extensions extending from a vertical main bar to the base. The lifting extension extends up from the base at a location that is radially spaced from a center of the base and preferably has a grasping loop. An embodiment of the invention features protrusions provided on the prongs for differentiating tipper and lower prong food positions and an additional embodiment features a grill that can be slid down into a resting position on the protrusions and with or essentially with a no horizontal slide (less than an inch horizontal slide capability). An embodiment also features a second grill which forms or is connected to the base, which base preferably features spoke extensions either radially extending from a central region of the base or represented by overlapping diametrical elongated base bars having the prongs integrally (e. g. , an upward bend to form a prong from a horizontal base extension) related to the base extensions.

Abstract:
A bike carrier device that has a vehicle connection bar such as one for trailer hitch securement and a cross frame structure preferably having a set of first and second cross bars that each extend to opposite sides of the connection bar and are spaced apart in a direction of elongation of the connection bar. The first and second cross bars are preferably interconnected by one or more interconnection bars that preferably extend transverse to the cross bar and are integrated with the cross bars and preferably provide sliding support relative to one or more vertical stabilizing bars having looped strapping threading and fixation devices in an upper region for bike frame stabilization strapping. The cross frame structure is supported on the vehicle connection bar such as through fasteners extending through the stacked cross frame structure and connection bar at the two intersection points of the cross bars (or extensions of the cross frame structure) with the connection bar. Side rails are provided (preferably on each free end of a double H-shaped configured cross frame structure) to providing underlying bike support such as by tire contact with opposite side rails supported by the cross bars which are insufficient in length (e. g.
A bike carrier which includes a U-shaped frame structure having an intermediate section and first and second leg sections. A first rail is supported by the frame structure and laterally spans between said first and second legs and extends out past at least one of said legs and preferably both in cantilever fashion. A carrier mount having a frame attachment device and a vehicle attachment device is provided for securing the U-shaped frame to a vehicle. Additionally preferably provided is a securement device supported by the U-shaped frame and extending upwardly from that frame. The securement device includes a lock receptor at an upper end for enabling locking of a bike to the carrier and provides an additional strap down location. Preferably a pair of bike support rails are spaced apart along the legs and each extend laterally out away from opposite outer sides of said legs to provide cantilever extensions to each side of the U-shaped frame structure. In addition one and preferably two adjustable cradle wheel mounts are provided on each rail, with at least some of the wheel mounts being slideably received by a respective one of the cantilever extensions provided by the rails.
A domestic fryer assembly and method of using which includes interconnected shell and cooking pot with the shell having an interior cavity receiving the cooking pot. A heating unit as in a resistance bar heater unit is supported by the combination shell and cooking pot and extends down into the cooking pot and features a generally horizontal portion suspended above the cooking pot bottom and preferably having a configuration of a horse-shoe with outer curved sides that generally follow the curvature of the supporting pot. The cooking pot is designed to hold sufficient cooking fluid to provide for deep frying relatively large single item food pieces as in a whole turkey of, for example, 8 to 18 pounds. The food item is preferably retained in a cooking basket that is dimensioned for insertion into the cooking pot. The cooking pot also preferably includes one or more volume reduction step-ins such as a bottom or lower one for doubling as a cooking basket support and/or an upper annular ledge step-in in the pot.
