Abstract:

An Auxiliary Power System includes an APU controller and an aircraft load controller which include an APU load capacity algorithm which provides an uncomplicated and robust method of APU load control. The APU load capacity algorithm defines three load zones: a continuous APU load capacity zone (zone A); a time controlled zone (zone B); and a fault zone (zone C). Each zone is related to altitude to the service ceiling of the APU to provides consistent APU load capacity that addresses APU performance variation and deterioration effects to an end of the APU useful life.

Abstract:

A cable system is provided that allows a computer to communicate or share data with a variety of cellular phones having different interface connectors. The cable system includes a base cable and a plurality of adapter cables. The plurality of adapter cables are adapted to communicably couple to the base cable. Each of the adapter cables is configured to communicably couple with one of the plurality of cellular phones. Depending on the cellular phone a user is using, the user may select one adapter cable from the plurality of adapter cables, which is configured to communicably couple with the user's cellular phone. The base cable is adapted to communicably couple with the computer. With the communication line linked from the PC to the base cable, from base cable to the selected adapter cable, and from the selected base cable to the user's cellular phone, the PC may exchange electronic data with the cellular phone.

Abstract:

A system and method of interfacing data between a first electronic device and a second electronic device is disclosed. In one embodiment, the first and second electronic devices are cell phones manufactured by different manufacturers. The first electronic device can be the source device, and the second electronic device can be the target device. A data transfer hub having universal connectors is coupled with at least one of a plurality of adapter cables. The first and second electronic devices are connected to the data transfer hub using at least one of the plurality of adapter cables. The data transfer hub is connected to the computer system, wherein the computer system is configured to receive and transmit data from the first electronic device and the second electronic device. The data is then transmitted from the first electronic device to the second electronic device.

Abstract:

An integrated circuit calculator which can operate in either a twelve digit or an eight digit mode is provided. A conditional modification circuit modifies some of the memory addresses employed in the twelve digit calculator to provide the eight digit calculator with more random access memory registers than the twelve digit calculator. In the twelve digit calculator, the conditional modification circuit also controls folding of some memory registers in order to minimize the chip area required for the memory cicuitry and control logic.
