Abstract:

A lock assembly for securing a trailer including a hitch ball, a lock housing, a lock washer and a nut. The lock housing is placed over the lock washer and nut to prevent the nut from turning. A threaded portion of the hitch ball is placed through a hole in the lock housing and through the lock washer and nut to secure the hitch ball. When a trailer coupler is locked to the ball portion of the hitch ball, the trailer and hitch ball are secure from theft.

Abstract:

A trailer hitch ball for use with a trailer hitch, a lock housing, a lock washer and a nut. The trailer hitch ball can be used to secure a trailer to a vehicle. The hitch ball includes a ball portion, a base portion and a threaded portion. The ball portion includes an integral drive member such that when torque is applied to the drive member, force is applied to the ball portion and the ball portion rotates relative to a trailer hitch. The outer surface of the ball portion may define two parallel and opposing tool engaging surfaces. When a trailer coupler is locked to the ball portion, the trailer and trailer hitch ball are secure from theft.

A locking clamp device is provided with first and second clamping members. The first clamping member includes a base member with a first clamping surface and a locking member movable with respect to the base member between a securing position and a releasing position. Abstract:

A latch assembly for a padlock includes a rocker having a central through bore and a tongue extending from an outer periphery of the rocker. A latch member is slidably disposed in a cavity in the rocker. A torsion spring is assembled to a spring retaining surface of the rocker and includes first and second legs extending from a center coil portion positioned around the through bore. The first leg extends beyond the outer periphery of the rocker, and the second leg terminates inward of the outer periphery of the rocker and engages a portion of the rocker to apply a biasing force against the rocker when the first leg is in a spring-loaded condition. The rocker comprises at least one spring fastening member securing the torsion spring to the spring retaining surface of the rocker.

An apparatus and a method for removing an object from a body are disclosed. The apparatus may include a sheath member, a snare, a forcep, and a biasing member. The sheath member may include a first channel and a second channel. The snare may be slidably disposed in the first channel of the sheath member.
