Abstract:
Described are computer-based methods and apparatuses, including computer program products, for defining video advertising channels. A set of requirements is received for an advertising channel. A training set of video content is identified based on the set of requirements. A set of baseline categorizations is received that includes, for each video in the training set of video content, a categorization for each requirement from the set of requirements. A set of experiments is calculated based on the training set of video content and the set of baseline categorizations to determine video content for the advertising channel.

Abstract:
A system and method for detecting interactive network of automated accounts, the interactive network of automated accounts comprising a plurality of automated accounts posting to a social media channel, the system comprising: an ingestion engine operated by a computational device for connecting to the social media channel and receiving a plurality of social media postings from a plurality of posting entities; a bot model operated by a computational device for determining whether at least one posting entity is a suspected bot; and a computer network for communication between said computational devices.

Abstract:
Embodiments disclose a method for automatic summarization of content. The method includes accessing a plurality of stories from a plurality of data sources for a predefined time. Each story is associated with a media item. The method includes plotting the plurality of stories over the predefined time for determining one or more peaks and extracting a set of stories from the one or more peaks. The method includes detecting one or more themes from the set of stories using LDA algorithm. Each theme is associated with a group of stories. The method further includes determining at least one subset of stories for each theme from the group of stories representing the set of stories in the one or more peaks using RBM algorithm. The method includes generating a summarized content for each user based on an associated user profile and the at least one subset of stories.

A system and method for performing non-graphical algorithm calculations on a GPU (graphics processing unit), by adapting the non-graphical algorithm to be executed according to the texture mapping calculation functions of the GPU, for example within the Web Browser environment. The non-graphical algorithm preferably relates to comparison of a plurality of data points. Each data point may relate to any unit of information, including but not limited to a document (for a document comparison algorithm), information about movements of a unit (for a collision detection algorithm), determination of interactions between two more nodes on a graph, such as for example and without limitation, determining such interactions in a social media channel.

Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for reporting advertisement performance at the video level. The video-level reporting system can include an ad server receiving requests from a user to view a video. The ad server transfers the request to an application programming interface for processing the request. The video-level reporting system can also include a storage and reporting module that stores the requested video and a corresponding advertisement, a video capture module for analyzing the user requested video, an analytics module for identifying user events and analyzing the advertisement performance based on the events, and an indexing module for indexing the requested videos.
