Abstract:

A method includes storing information regarding protocols required by a plurality of climate controllers and a plurality of cooling devices. A request message is received from a first of the climate controllers, the request message being addressed to a specific cooling device. A protocol required by the specific cooling device is determined using the stored information regarding protocols required by the cooling devices. The request message is converted to the protocol required by the specific cooling device. A response message is queued from the specific cooling device if the time period allowed for responding to the first climate controller has expired. The queued response message is sent to the first climate controller when a subsequent request message is received from the first climate controller.

At least some illustrative embodiments comprise a method for monitoring a datacenter, comprising collecting a plurality of real-time data samples from a plurality of data sensors, generating a plurality of processed data values based at least in part on the plurality of real-time data samples, mapping each of the plurality of processed data values to one of a plurality of colors, and displaying the plurality of processed data values as regions of color on one or more two-dimensional (2-D) planes within a three-dimensional (3-D) space representing a datacenter.

Abstract:

Methods and system for enhancing and monitoring demand forecasting through advanced analytics is described. The advanced analytics demand forecasting system and techniques leverage multivariate data, thereby enhancing modeling through the use of data related to a plethora of aspects of the supply chain. Multivariate data can include market data, econometric data, customer data, lifecycle analytics, and an expanded range of historical data (e.g., 15 years). Multivariate data can be fed into an advanced analytics hyper parameter model, which combines time series, as well as machine learning and deep learning algorithms to improve the accuracy of the demand forecast. In some cases, the advanced analytics hyper parameter model is a stacking ensemble model, which combines the predictions of several other models using a stacking ensemble technique, thereby improving the modeled predictions. Accordingly, advanced analytics demand forecasting techniques can provide improved accuracy, and advancements over previous univariate approaches.
