Abstract:

The invention relates to a device for selecting products, in particular tyre patches, depending on the size of damage previously done to the tyre. For this purpose, two legs () are connected in a rotatable manner to a hinge joint (). The legs () have tapering areas () in the area of the measuring ends. A power element () is positioned in such a way that the legs () are returned to the starting position upon completion of the selection process. In the area of the measuring ends of the legs (), projections () are formed which are oriented in a direction of movement which corresponds to a movement separating the tapering areas () of the legs (). On at least one of the legs (), a display area () is provided in which during the selection process at least one product is selected or displayed depending on the position of the other leg () in the display area ().
