Abstract:

A convex shell structure for enhanced aerodynamic performance and/or reduced heat transfer requirements for a space vehicle that re-enters an atmosphere. The structure has a fore-body, an aft-body, a longitudinal axis and a transverse cross sectional shape, projected on a plane containing the longitudinal axis, that includes: first and second linear segments, smoothly joined at a first end of each the first and second linear segments to an end of a third linear segment by respective first and second curvilinear segments; and a fourth linear segment, joined to a second end of each of the first and second segments by curvilinear segments, including first and second ellipses having unequal ellipse parameters. The cross sectional shape is non-symmetric about the longitudinal axis. The fourth linear segment can be replaced by a sum of one or more polynomials, trigonometric functions or other functions satisfying certain constraints.

Abstract:

A secure network is provided which includes a plurality of network bubbles having a plurality of bubble partitions. Each bubble partition has at least one network device configured to transmit and receive data. All the network devices that belong to or correspond to a particular network bubble have the same network security policy. The secure network also includes a plurality of network control points, which has one or more network control point devices having at least one interface. Each bubble partition is connected to at least one network control point. The network control point is used to provide a connection between at least two network devices. Each network control point device is configured to enforce the network security policy of all the network bubbles that are connected to it. During the transmission of data from one network device to another network device, one or more network control points are traversed.

Systems and methodologies are provided for fabrication of a self contained key pad module having a top cover and a bottom cover. The top cover and the bottom cover encapsulate and/or sandwich a stack of keypad components via an over mold procedure that is performed around the stack. Abstract:

Some embodiments provide a method for a network controller. The method receives configuration data, for a logical router managed by the network controller, that specifies at least one logical port for the logical router. The method automatically generates connected routes for the logical router based on network address ranges specified for the logical ports of the logical router. The method receives a manually input static route for the logical router. The method generates data tuples, for distribution to several managed network elements, based on the connected and static routes for the logical router in order for the several managed network elements to implement the logical router.

Abstract:

Some embodiments provide a method for a network controller in a network control system that manages a plurality of logical networks. The method receives a specification of a logical network that includes a logical router. The method selects at least two host machines to implement a routing table for the logical router from several host machines designated for hosting logical routers. The selected host machines include a designated master host machine for the routing table. The method generates data tuples for provisioning a set of managed forwarding elements that implement the logical network to send data packets that require processing by the routing table to the selected host machines. The data tuples specify an order for the selected host machines with the designated master host machine as the first host machine in the specified order.

Abstract:

An integrated dual-mode visual display system which includes both a large-area heads down display and a heads up display combined in a single unit includes a housing or chassis, a flat panel display attached to the housing or chassis, a HUD projector for projecting HUD images and/or data, and a processor housed within the housing or attached to the chassis for driving both the HUD projector and the flat panel display. The processor comprises a video generator for generating video images to be displayed on the flat panel display and on the HUD. The HUD and the HDD (the flat panel display) can display the same information, completely distinct information, or information that has some commonality (some information is uniquely displayed on one or the other of the HUD and HDD displays, while some information is displayed on both the HUD and the HDD).
