Drawer Guide Rail Assembly With Releaseably Secured Bumpers
A guide rail assembly is used with a drawer to guide the movement of the drawer into and out of an article of furniture. The assembly has a supporting rail attached to a supporting surface and a pull-out rail attached to the drawer. At least one carriage is positioned between the supporting rail and the pull-out rail, and the supporting rail and the pull-out rail have stops for limiting movement of the pull-out rail and the carriage with respect to the supporting rail. The impact associated with closing the drawer is absorbed and suppressed by releaseably secured bumpers which engage stops controlling each of the drawers during opening and closing. The bumpers may be changed to adjust to drawers or drawer contents of varying weights.

Abstract:
A face frame snap-on hinge for adjustably supporting a door on an associated frame utilizes a hinge cup inserted within a bore provided in the interior side of the door. A hinge pin is mounted inside the hinge cup and pivotally connects with one end of a hinge arm. The other end of the hinge arm forms a connecting and release mechanism for the door. A base plate is adjustably connected to preferably the frame and an adjusting member is fastened to the base plate. A cam screw is associated with the adjusting member and the base plate to permit the adjustment of the door with the frame while the hinge arm and base plate remain connected. The door and frame can be adjusted by two independent procedures, both of which permit adjustment to be made without separating the door from the frame.

At least one carriage is positioned between the supporting rail and the pull-out rail, and the supporting rail and the pull-out rail have stops for limiting movement of the pull-out rail and the carriage with respect to the supporting rail. A spring is loaded as the drawer is moved to the drawer-open position and actuated when the drawer is moved toward the drawer-close position. The noise associated with closing the drawer as it is pulled by the spring is controlled and suppressed by a shock absorbing device formed by a plunger and plunger-receiving cylinder. When the pull-out rail engages the plunger as it is moved toward the drawer-close position by the spring, the air within the cylinder is compressed by the plunger so that the pull-out rail and carried drawer and slowly and silently move to the full drawer-close position as the air in the cylinder is discharged.

A laterally adjustable mounting bracket for use with a tongueless drawer guide, comprising a mounting plate and a hollow central elongate member connected at one end to the front face of the mounting plate. An opening in one end of the central elongate member opposite the mounting plate connection is adapted to receive a tongueless drawer guide. The opening is designed to maintain tension on the drawer guide, such that the drawer guide remains relatively secure after adjustment to a particular position. This is accomplished by a tab which is deflected slightly inward toward the interior of the opening, and which is somewhat displaced when a drawer guide is inserted.
A cabinet rail assembly includes a pair of cabinet rails, each of which is provided with a projection on the bottom edge of a front end portion that extends a predetermined distance below the bottom edge of the front end portion which is adapted to space the bottom edge of the cabinet rail by a pre-determined distance above a bottom member of the drawer opening. The projection on the front end of a left-hand cabinet rail is formed from a corresponding notch on the front end of a right-hand cabinet rail and vice versa. The projection on one of the cabinet rails is spaced a further distance from the front edge of the cabinet rail than the projection on the other of the cabinet rails; the projection on the front end portion of each of the cabinet rails corresponds to the notch in the front end portion of the other of the cabinet rails; and the projection on the front end portion of each of the cabinet rails is positioned adjacent the notch, which together with the projection, defines a generally S-shaped perimeter.

"The order of the symptoms matter. Knowing that each illness progresses differently means that doctors can identify sooner whether someone likely has COVID-19, or another illness, which can help them make better treatment decisions," Joseph Larsen, study lead author said.

COVID-19 symptoms often appear in this order, according to a new study
To discover the sequence, the USC researchers, led by doctoral candidate Joseph Larsen, examined medical records and other data on over 55,000 coronavirus cases in China collected over a nine-day span in February, along with a set of over 1,000 cases from December through January. They also compared

Texas is behind the curve on releasing timely information on the coronavirus. Here’s why
Joseph Larsen, an open-government advocate in Houston and lawyer with the Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas, said state law allows public health officials to withhold a wide array of information pertaining to contagious diseases, ostensibly to prevent panic.
