Abstract:

A segmented rolled food item is continuously produced using a rotating segmenting roller having a plurality of parallel circumferential lanes. Each lane contains a series of circumferentially spaced knife edges that are disposed at least substantially parallel to the axis of rotation of the roller. A segmented rolled food item is produced by feeding multiple continuous at least substantially parallel strips of a flowable food product, each of which are deposited on pre-slit parallel strips of support material, between the nip of an upper anvil surface and the lower surface of the rotating segmenting roller. The segmentation of the food strip occurs without segmentation of the support strip. After segmenting, the food strip and the support material are cut into lengths to form leading and trailing ends. Each strip of food is rolled around a leading end of the support material to obtain a segmented rolled food item.

Abstract:

There is disclosed a pail bailer having a continuous wall, an open top and a bottom that has a flood port formed therein and which is fitted with a flood screen and an internal flexible flapper valve overlying the flood port. The flapper valve is provided with a spacer bushing that permit it to flex away from the flood port when the pail bailer is lowered into water or other liquid to permit the water or other liquid to enter and fill the pail bailer. A handle is provided across the open top of the pail bailer and its ends are secured in diametrically opposed brackets enabling the handle to be rotated through an arc greater than 180. degree. or be locked within the brackets in vertical, coaxial alignment with the longitudinal axis of the pail bailer.

Abstract:

There is disclosed a gutter trap assemblage which is adapted for use with conventional, U-shaped gutters and their downspouts. The gutter trap assemblage is an integral, one piece unit having an upper section and a lower section. When installed, the upper section mates with and communicates with a conventional U-shaped gutter and the lower section communicates with a conventional gutter downspout. The upper section also communicates with the lower section through its open bottom which is co-extensive with the open top of the lower section. A plurality of screens are provided in the lower section to form a series of chambers therein. The screens are positioned so that their top edges are below the plane of the bottom wall of a conventional, U-shaped gutter. Since water seeks its own level, this permits a maximum flow of water to be maintained in the conventional, U-shaped gutter and the gutter trap assemblage since leaves, seeds and other debris are deposited into and trapped within the screened chambers of the lower section before they can reach the gutter downspout. Because of this self-cleaning action in the conventional, U-shaped gutter, only the gutter trap assemblage of the invention needs to be cleaned of accumulated leaves, seeds and other debris.

Abstract:

A splashguard device for a dishwasher includes an angular sector of a circular plate. A sector angle of the angular sector has an angle of from about 100 to 130 degrees. The radius of the circular plate substantially equals the radial length of a dishwasher door determined from the hinge axis of the dishwasher door. A plurality of fastening devices permanently secures the angular sector at a radially extending edge to a radially directed side face of the dishwasher door. Spacer devices are provided for spacing the angular sector at a distance of approximately 0. 5 inch from the radially extending side face of the dishwasher door in a vertical plane parallel to an outer face of a dishwasher outside wall. A guide is attached to the dishwasher outside wall to ensure a free movement of the splashguard.

Abstract:

Abstract:

A ready-to-eat cereal is prepared from a cookie formulation, including flour, sugar, shortening or fat and a bowl-life extender. The bowl-life extender includes a waxy starch, preferably a pregelatinized starch from waxy maize in an effective amount to improve the bowl life of the cereal pieces without causing the cereal pieces to become excessively firm. A cold water swelling granular starch is also included with the pregelatinized waxy starch to improve bowl life of the cereal. The dough is prepared by mixing the ingredients to form a cookie dough-like consistency. The dough may be rotary molded or sheeted and cut into bite-size pieces and baked to leaven the cereal pieces. The baked pieces may then be coated with an optional sugar glaze.

Abstract:

A user equipment (UE) determines sidelink resources for use in vehicle wireless communications. Initial beam establishment uses a Sidelink Synchronization Signal (SLSS), a Sidelink Channel State Information Reference Signal (SL-CSI-RS), or a Sidelink Demodulation Reference Signal (SL-DMRS). Beam refinement may then be conducted either by UEs in communication with each other, or by just one of the UEs. A base station such as a gNB may assign resources for a dedicated sidelink carrier or a shared licensed sidelink carrier, e.g., dynamically, as pre-configured by RRC, or based on activation and deactivation. In such cases, initial beam establishment and refinement may include gNB controlled beam forming at a connectionless stage, gNB controlled beam forming at connection stage with scheduling DCI transmitted to Tx UE only, or gNB controlled beam forming at connection stage with scheduling DCI transmitted to both Tx UE and Rx UE.
