Abstract:

A traffic barrier including a precast base having a wall port capable of receiving an existing earth wall therein, a first row of rebar coupled to the base and extending outwardly away therefrom, and a second row of rebar coupled to the base and extending outwardly away therefrom. A moment slab is connected to the first and second rows of rebar in such a manner that a proximal end of the moment slab directly abuts flush against an anterior side of the base.
