My wife Betsy and I moved to the area in June, 1997 and occupied a "Sunsuite" loft efficiency at The Gulf Shores Plantation for almost a year. Betsy took a job in Owner and Guest Relations with a local agency, while I continued my consulting practice; my client list included E.I. du Pont de Nemours, PNC Bank, Boeing, Chevron Chemical and other like firms of various size. In 2001, Betsy took a position with the Alabama Gulf Coast Area Chamber of Commerce. Likewise, that same year, I opted to get off the road, and assumed the position as Association Manager at The Beach Club. I left that position in April, 2005 in order to assume my current role as Associate Broker with Mandoki Realty. After leaving our little sunsuite in 1998, Betsy and I bought a unit at the Ft.
