Joshua better known as “Mr. Weirdo” became the savior of hip hop music for Coney Island. A place where the dream of becoming a hip hop star is almost like flying, in all reality it just won't happen. “Mr. Weirdo” began rapping at the age of 18. Prior to rapping he played baseball for his HighSchool team and did a little bit of boxing. After going through many phases in his life all it took was one time on the karaoke machine for him to know that music was going to be his true love. In just one year, after battling many contestants he was able to clinch a spot on the famous television show, B.E.T.'s freestyle friday. Soon after he was chosen to participate in a reality dating show called "You Rock Let's Roll' that aired on F.U.S.E TV. This show allowed “Mr. Weirdo” to show off his talent in order to win a date with a lovely beautiful lady. “Mr. Weirdo” has also been aired on Brooklyn's local channel network “B.C.A.T” several times, for winning many of New York's underground hip hop show cases. In 2011 “Mr. Weirdo” started touring throughout all of New York’s top CUNY Colleges such as John Jay, Baruch, NYIT, Hunter and Lehman college and will continue to do so throughout 2012 and beginning of 2013. “Mr. Weirdo” created a big following for himself after performing in the “Paint & Poetry” showcase ran by Scott Morris and Mojo Disco. This showcase allowed “Mr. Weirdo” to project his rhymes acapella and in doing so he left a great impression on the crowd. Loved by many, “Mr. Weirdo” was asked to be in the “Paint & Poetry” All Star Edition. “Mr. Weirdo's” youtube channel uploaded views is currently at 123,174 which signifies that he is starting to generate a sufficient amount of views that comes with being a star. The soon to be star will be releasing his debut Ep called “The Weirdest Thing I Ever Wrote”. The name “Mr. Weirdo” has left the town of Coney Island with a pair of new lungs, a breath of fresh air and the thought, that this kid of diversity could actually live the dream that many residents thought was impossible.
