Abstract:

A combination clock and art set apparatus, including a clock face having a plurality of elements arranged to mark at least one time interval, and clock hands arranged for movement relative to the elements and one another to indicate a time. Abstract:

A wheeled exerciser includes a pair of main traction wheels, a pair of auxiliary wheels, a housing with a receiving compartment, a main wheel axle, a mounting piece which can be attached securely onto the housing, a set of coil springs which can be attached with one of the ends of each coil spring onto a mounting piece and with the other end of each coil spring attached to each of the main traction wheels in such a manner that the springs are winded when the wheels turn, and a pair of handles which can be attached to the outer surface of the housing. In use, the user holds the handles with both hands, presses the wheels of the exerciser against the floor, and pushes the exerciser forward from a starting point. In the course of pushing the exerciser forward, the main traction wheels turn and wind up the springs. When the exerciser reaches the desired position, the user moves the exerciser backward with the help of the restoring force on the springs. FIG.

Abstract:

A sponge mop is fitted with a wringing device. The wringing device includes a sleeve that slidably surrounds the handle of the mop. A roller is attached to the sleeve and is spaced from the sleeve. A drive member is pivotally attached at one end to the mop head and at the other end to a small slide block that slides on a handle-mounted rail. The slide block bears against a portion of the sleeve housing with adequate pressure so that downward movement of the sleeve moves the slide block and thus the drive member, thus effecting the rotation of the mop head by, ultimately, 90 degrees such that the sponge is positioned with its cleaning face parallel to the axis of the handle. Further downward travel of the sleeve allows the roller on the device to expel water held by the sponge. A scrubber/scraper is attached to the mop head at the end which is remote from the handle when the mop head is generally aligned with the handle.

Abstract:

A broom for cleaning surfaces or floors is designed with a device having a plurality of narrow slots through which the bristles of the broom are threaded. The device is able to slide along the handle of the broom such that the span of the bristles projected from the slots of the device can increase or decrease. When the span of the bristles increases, the bristles are less stiff and the broom is suitable for gentle brushing action. As the span of the bristles decreases, the bristles stiffen, allowing the broom to be used for heavier brushing action. The device can also be set in a position such that the working ends or free ends of the bristles are completely sunk inside the slots. At this position, any dirt and dust that is trapped between the bristles will be pushed away from the bristles.

Abstract:

A container includes an inner bowl and an outer bowl with compartments there-between for filled with material so as to create decorative patterns and ornamentation. The inner bowl is preferably nested on the outer bowl to form a cavity in between walls of the inner bowl and outer bowl. The cavity is preferably partitioned via walls or ribs to form a number of compartments to hold small pieces of natural or synthetic materials such as beans, gravel, beads, or candy. The inner and/or outer bowls are preferably made with transparent plastic material so as to enable the interior material within the cavity to be seen. By filling the compartments within the cavity with particles of selected or different materials, it can create a variety of decorative patterns and ornamentation for the container.
