Juan Juarez is best known for his outgoing personality, and his shameless love for Britney Spears. Growing up Juan had little very knowledge of what was and was not normal. When looking through old pictures of himself as a third grader, Juan learned that all throughout 3rd grade his mother had dressed him in boxers when going to school because he thought they were shorts! This was clearly not normal. Upon entering fourth grade, he wasn’t afraid of asking the question that he thought everyone was burning to ask after the teacher told the students to “not forget to bring their deodorant to gym class.” Juan’s question was “what’s deodorant?” As you can probably imagine, laughter filled the classroom from not only the students, but teacher as well. However, he just laughed along with everyone else as if his question was totally normal. Once in College, Juan was known for his taste in music or what others would call “distaste in music.” After getting several complaints from neighbors in his apartment complex, Juan realized that many people were not a fan of his music. His late night study sessions somehow always got turned into N’Sync, Backstreet Boys, and Britney Spears dance parties. Sadly, his neighbors found his music distasteful, but Juan continued to love his pop music regardless of others opinions. Juan’s ability to make others laugh has always entertained people. Whether it’s going out to Austin and making everyone laugh by putting on the worst moves on the dance floor or slipping and falling at Whataburger at 2:30 a.m., Juan has always been able to not take himself too seriously. His leadership in organizations has allowed individuals to observe his ability to get lost while driving to events with a GPS, learn that he is a momma’s boy due to his 10 missed phone calls during a meeting, and engage in a debate that involves arguing that Miley Cyrus is a legitimate artist.
