About:

I am a native of Ashland and Richmond. I grew up in Ashland, but have spent my entire adult life in Richmond. I have lived in the Fan, Near West end, and currently in the West end of Richmond. I have sold homes in all of those areas plus, South Richmond, Goochland, Ashland, Mechanicsville, and Shortpump. I work with a partner, Robyn Bivens, and together we make up the Bivens Hester Team. Robyn and I joined Virginia Properties in December 2009 after being with Joyner Fine Properties for the last four years. Virginia Properties is located at 412 Libbie Avenue. I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BS in Finance and received a Master of Public Health in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996. After working as a pharmaceutical representative and starting my family, I got my real estate license and became a Realtor in 2001. The Bivens Hester Team has been recognized by the Richmond Association of Realtors as Distinguished Achievers. We also won a "Top Ten Team" award from Joyner Fine Properties in 2008 and we both are Accredited Buyers Representatives (ABR).
