Abstract:

A skid plate for manually propelled scooters is provided. This skid plate includes a bottom panel, side panels and a front panel for protecting the front, sides and bottom of the platform section of a scooter. Projecting rearwardly from the front panel are one or more nodal projections which are sized and configured to project into hollow stiffening members of a scooter's platform section. In a preferred embodiment, the bottom panel of the skid plate further includes an upwardly extending ridge sized and configured to press fit into a groove formed on the underside of a scooter's platform section.

The beam combiner () is positioned at the focal plane that combines the lasers beams (A) (B) to provide a combination beam. Abstract:

A solid state drive controller includes a processor configured to couple to a plurality of non-volatile memory devices. The plurality of non-volatile memory devices are configured to store a plurality of system journals and a plurality of physical pages. The solid state drive controller also includes a volatile memory configured to store a logical-to-physical address translation map configured to enable the solid state drive controller to determine a physical location of at least one logical page. The processor is configured to maintain the plurality of system journals in the plurality of non-volatile memory devices, wherein each system journal defines physical-to-logical page correspondences for a predetermined range of the plurality of physical pages, and each system journal comprises an identification number that includes a portion of an address of a first physical page of the predetermined range of the plurality of physical pages.

Abstract:

A data storage system configured to implement a data reliability scheme is disclosed. In one embodiment, a data storage system controller detects uncorrectable errors using intra page parity when data units are read from a set of pages. When an uncorrectable error is detected, the data storage system controller attempts to recover user data using inter page parity without using all data from each page of the set of pages. Recovery of user data can thereby be performed without reading all data from each page. As a result, the amount of time needed to read data can be reduced in some cases and overall data storage system performance can be increased.
