Abstract:

A plurality of multimedia presentations and a scheduling file may be stored on a display system. In response to reading the scheduling file, the display system determines which multimedia presentations to play at specific times. Periodically, updated scheduling files and updated multimedia presentations may be downloaded from a remote server. Template-based multimedia presentations comprise a template file, a template parts list and media content files. Template files define an arrangement and presentation of selected content element types. A template parts list associates content element types with content elements stored in the media content files. The display system processes template files according to the schedule. In processing a template file, the template parts list is referenced to identify which of content elements are associated with the selected content element types and to retrieve the identified content elements from the corresponding media content files in order to build the multimedia presentation.

Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques to facilitating delivery of a package or sensitive item to a user, where the package or sensitive item can be a credit card or debit card. Abstract:

Disclosed herein are method and system for moving vehicles, the system comprising: at least one power distribution station (PDS), each power distribution station comprising: a power source; and at least one transmitter array comprising a plurality of transmitter, each transmitter array configured to wirelessly transmit power to a receiver; and at least one flight-capable vehicle, each vehicle comprising: a craft configured to carry a payload; at least one receiver configured to receive and utilize the power transmitted from the transmitter array to power the vehicle; and a lifting array comprising a plurality of ion-producing propulsion means, the lifting array coupled to the vehicle and configured to lift the vehicle a predetermined altitude and distance using power from the receiver.
