Abstract:

An oral-delivery pharmaceutical composition for reducing the gastric irritation effect of an NSAID in the upper GI tract of a mammal. The composition includes (a) a mucosal protective amount of a pharmaceutically-acceptable hydrocolloid gum obtainable from higher plants, (b) a dispersion-enhancing amount of another excipient and (c) a therapeutically-effective amount of an NSAID. Also disclosed is a process for preparing the composition and a method for reducing the gastric irritation effect of the NSAID by administering the composition. Also, disclosed is a composition particularly useful for preparing an aqueous suspension.

Abstract:

A personal financial notification device includes a processor coupled to machine readable storage media having instructions stored therein. The instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive a non-confidential status of a financial account of a user from a separate mobile device. The financial account is associated with the personal financial notification device. The instructions also cause the processor to display the non-confidential status of the financial account without requiring user authentication.

Abstract:

A system includes a server system that includes a processor and instructions stored in non-transitory machine-readable media. The instructions are configured to cause the server system to receive authentication information from a client device. The authentication information relates to a financial account of a user. The instructions are also configured to cause the server system to authenticate the user so as to associate the client device with the financial account of the user. The system also includes a financial notification circuit located on the client device. The financial notification circuit is configured to determine a location of the client device. The financial notification circuit is also configured to provide a notification on the client device alerting the client to not spend money at the location.

Abstract:

A drain assembly comprises a rigid body having an intake chamber connected to a discharge chamber via a passageway disposed in a lower portion of the rigid body, an intake opening disposed in an upper portion of the rigid body adapted to receive a fluid into the intake chamber of the rigid body, the intake opening adapted to be coupled to a drain via a flexible hose, a discharge opening also disposed in the upper portion of the rigid body but spaced from the intake opening, adapted to conduct the fluid out from the discharge chamber of the rigid body, the discharge opening adapted to be coupled to a drainage pipe, a clean-out opening disposed in the lower portion of the rigid body in fluid communication with the passageway, and a removable cap adapted to close off the clean-out opening.
