My background in nursing includes serving as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for Braswells Ivy Retreat, Reche Canyon Rehab & Health Care, Maxim Healthcare Services between the years of 2007 and 2009. In 2008 I began my career with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation at the California Institution for Women (CIW), where I have worked independently distributing medication, efficient patient care and provided wound care services. I have also worked very closely with physicians to include the Chief Surgeon. The knowledge I gained has lead CIW into appointing me as one of the nurses utilized during skills training as a trainer because of my ability to teach and my extensive skill set. In addition to this experience, I gained considerable Supervision/Managerial skills during my employment with Stater Bros grocery store from 1988 - 2004. I gained invaluable knowledge as District Trainer that includes but not limited to overseeing operations for approximately 1900 employees, training store managers, key carriers, checking school, food handling and customer service as well as cost analysis.
