I got my first real estate license in Wyoming in 1983 during the oilfield boom/bust when the economy was pretty bad. After a year I moved back to Napa, CA where I was originally from and received my real estate license there as well. In 2002 my family and I moved to this wonderful area in Western Colorado and again I got my Broker's license and began selling homes&luxury executive homes, orchards & farms, vineyards & wineries, multi-units, horse properties, etc. After raising our children and feeling the empty nest syndrome when they all left home one by one, my husband and I decided we needed a little lap dog and he brought home a 7 wk old Great Dane puppy that fit on my lap for 1 week! Then, of course, we had to get him a playmate (another Great Dane) and now we are raising 6 beautiful Great Danes on our 6 acres. Our kids think we're nuts, but we love it. Sometimes when I'm out in a neighborhood passing out cards and flyers promoting my business, I bring one of my Danes and feel like the Pied Piper after all the neighborhood kids walk along with me so that they can pet the big dog. Nevertheless, we do get lots of great attention!
