Abstract:

A water-based, erasable marking composition comprising 1-86% by weight water, 0. 3-38% by weight pigment, 13-45% by weight polyurethane, and 0-85% by weight glycerin. The present invention also includes an application instrument comprising an outer body having a first end, an applicator at the first end of the outer body, a reservoir included within the outer body and in fluid communication with the applicator, and a water-based, erasable marking composition within the reservoir. The water-based, erasable marking composition comprises the composition of the invention.

Abstract:

Abstract:

A chemiluminescent reactant solution and a layer containing a solid oxidizer. An embodiment of the invention has the layer containing a solid oxidizer supported by a substrate such as paper. The reactant solution includes an oxalate and a fluorescer and reacts with the oxidizer after it is applied to the oxidizer layer. A preferred embodiment of the invention includes the presence of an oxidizer activator layer. A chemiluminescent marking system including a chemiluminescent reactant solution in at least one first delivery applicator and an oxidizer solution in a second delivery applicator. The oxidizer solution reacts with the chemiluminescent reactant solution to cause the chemiluminescent reactant solution to glow. A stabilizer may also be included in the oxidizer solution.

Abstract:

The invention includes an article for use in preparing a visual presentation having a paper or paper display item with ruled lines pre-printed thereon, and a reducing fluid source. The user can apply the reducing fluid from the reducing fluid source to the ruled lines to chemically reduce the ruled lines on at least a portion of the paper or paper display item to thereby render that portion free of visual ruled lines. Also included is a method of preparing a visual presentation comprising providing a paper or paper display item having ruled lines pre-printed thereon, writing on the paper or paper display using the pre-printed lines for guidance, and applying a reducing fluid to the lines to render the ruled lines substantially invisible without rendering invisible the writing disposed on the paper or paper display.

The technology described herein relates to a system and device for saturating an absorbent wicking nib with colored ink supplied by an ink pad having a well configured to receive a portion of the sidewall of the nib. Different colors of ink can be transferred to different portions of the nib sidewall to result in a multicolor marker nib.
