Abstract:

A disk hard disk drive that includes a spindle motor and an actuator arm coupled to a base plate. A plurality of disks are coupled to the spindle motor and a plurality of heads are coupled to the actuator arm and the disks. The drive also includes a cover attached to the base plate. The cover and base plate enclose a hard disk area that has a horizontal center line. The hard disk area includes a volume of air above the horizontal center line that is equal to a volume of air below the horizontal center line. The air space within the hard disk area is equal and symmetrical in a vertical direction. Such an arrangement reduces track mis-registration when servo is copied from a disk surface to the other surfaces of the disks in the drive.

Abstract:

Unique content generated by a group of individual users is evaluated. First unique content provided by a first user via a social networking website interface is collected at a tangible host server. Second unique content provided by a second user via the social networking website interface is collected at the tangible host server. User input ratings from individual users of the social networking website interface are collected so as to rate the first unique content and second unique content. In a first evaluation stage, the first unique content and second unique content are evaluated based on user input from individual users of the social networking website interface so as to comparatively rank the first unique content and second unique content.

Abstract:

This application discusses, among other things, curved plates for immobilizing a breast of a subject for medical imaging. In an example, an immobilization assembly Can include a curved compression plate assembly, a curved support plate assembly, an assembly coupling configured to position a first concave major surface of the curved compression plate assembly, opposite a second concave major surface of the curved support plate assembly, wherein a cross section view thrugh the curved compresson assembly and the curved suport plate assembly includes two portions of a single ellipse sepearated by a distance, and wherein the curved compression plate assembly and the curved support plate assembly are configured to immpbilize the biological specimen between the first concave major surface and the second concave major surface.
