Abstract:
An insect attractant and elimination device comprising a base, reservoir and shield, each of which cooperates to house, protect and provide a liquid bait which is dispensed from the reservoir to the base in a selected quantity for the consumption by targeted insect groups. The reservoir is made cooperable with the base by an adapter which may be easily removed from each thereof so as to facilitate replenishment of the bait supply and otherwise servicing the device, and to permit use of third party containers, with or without bait included, and containers of varying capacity and shields and bases of different configurations accommodating differing insect control applications.

Abstract:
There is provided an insect attractant and elimination platform, the platform featuring an environment-tolerant, high volume, continuous liquid feed device and method for the eradications of ants, insects, and other pests. Preferably, the invention includes a reservoir for storing a predetermined quantity of liquid bait; a base in cooperation with the reservoir for receiving predetermined quantities of liquid bait accessible to the insect pests; and a stabilizing device removably attached to the base for favorable positioning of the device. A weather shield is integrated or cooperates with the reservoir portion of the device to protect the liquid bait from damaging environmental elements.

International Classification:
A01M 1/20
US Classification:
043131000
Abstract:
Disclosed are low-toxicity insect baits in dry powdery formulation and a method wherein the insect bait compound is designed, manufactured, packaged, shipped and otherwise handled in a dry powdery bait composition form prior to being mixed and dissolved in water or other solvent, without precipitate, by agricultural growers or other end users to produce a low-toxicity, liquid insect bait effective for utilization in the Liquid Gravity Feed Elimination System, LGFAES, or any equivalent device, so as to increase the effectiveness of the bait and reduce the cost otherwise associated with the packaging and shipping of baits in liquid form. The dry powdery baits within the present invention include attractants, insect-killing agents, preservatives, and adjuvants.

Abstract:
A method and a device for utilizing insects feeding at an insect elimination dispenser as a carrier of a pathogen or like material to eliminate additional insects of the same or different species by providing a contamination band affixed to the dispenser in the path of insects feeding at the dispenser and including a material to contaminate insects contacting the contamination band and the insects, after leaving, contaminate other insects of the same or of a different species.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of designing, manufacturing, packaging, shipping, otherwise handling and delivering to problem insects a low-toxicity, bio-friendly insect-killing bait in a dry powdery form prior to being dissolved, without precipitate, with water or other solvent by agricultural growers or other end users for utilization by them in the long-term delivery Liquid Gravity Feed Elimination System, LGFAES, or an equivalent weather-sheltered, liquid bait station dispenser for the elimination of a broad range of crop-damaging, or otherwise problem, crawling, walking and flying insects using lateral transfer of the insect killing substance within the bait to reach insects that have not been attracted to the delivery device creating exponential destruction to the targeted insect infestation.
