Abstract:

A method of dieting includes the steps of reducing the secretion of insulin in the metabolic system of body, reducing the carbohydrate from meals, reducing the size of meals, and reducing the sense of hunger and the craving for food. The step of reducing the secretion of insulin includes the step of having protein-intensified meals. The step of reducing the carbohydrate from meals includes the steps of having leafy vegetables and excluding fruits from meals. The step of reducing the size of meals includes the steps of breaking a given meal into multiple servings and having the servings with predetermined interval. The step of reducing the sense of hunger and the craving for food includes the steps of drinking enough water, excluding spicy foods from meals, and prohibiting exercise. In the final steps, the method of dieting further includes the steps of having balanced meals and excising regularly.

Abstract:

A system and method for removable or semi-permanent installation of a transparent organic lighting diode (TOLED) display with transparency control are disclosed. In one embodiment, the system includes a TOLED display that includes a TOLED panel with a front side and a back side, a cover glass or a touch sensor coupled to the front side of the TOLED panel, and a transparency control medium coupled to the back side of the TOLED panel to provide transparency control of the TOLED panel, wherein the transparency control medium is an electrochromic (EC) glass, a Suspended Particle Device (SPD) film, or a Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) film. The system further includes a versatile hinge assembly coupled to the TOLED display to enable the TOLED display to be used in a table top or desktop configuration or to be mounted to a support structure.

Abstract:

An amplifier module includes a module substrate with a mounting surface, a signal conducting layer, a ground layer, and a ground terminal pad at the mounting surface. A thermal dissipation structure extends through the module substrate. A ground contact of a power transistor die is coupled to a surface of the thermal dissipation structure. Encapsulant material covers the mounting surface of the module substrate and the power transistor die, and a surface of the encapsulant material defines a contact surface of the amplifier module. A ground terminal is embedded within the encapsulant material. The ground terminal has a proximal end coupled to the ground terminal pad, and a distal end exposed at the contact surface. The ground terminal is electrically coupled to the ground contact of the power transistor die through the ground terminal pad, the ground layer of the module substrate, and the thermal dissipation structure.

Abstract:

A comprehensive system and method construction of an organic lighting diode (OLED) display for regular outdoor use. In one embodiment, the system includes an OLED display that includes an OLED panel with a front side and a back side, a front cover glass with an optional controllable UV light blocking medium coupled to the front side of the OLED panel, a rear cover coupled to the OLED panel. The incorporation of a controllable UV light blocking medium—such as electrochromic (EC) glass, Suspended Particle Device Film (SPD), Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) or any other equivalent controllable tinting technology bonded to the front side of the OLED panel—allows the display to protect itself from excess light. The UV light blocking medium can be controlled programmatically, by implementing light sensors, timers or by manual control via a switch or similar device.
