Abstract:

A magnetic boat docking system includes an elongated pole having a handle end and a working end and a docking line having a magnetic member attached thereto. The pole has a magnet for attracting the magnetic member of the docking line where the magnet is located adjacent the working end of the pole. The pole also has a hook adapted to aid in grasping the docking line and a rod slidably extending within the pole with the magnet attached thereto in order to retract the magnet within the pole to release the line.

Abstract:

An apparatus and a method for holding, rotating and positioning a jack for the purpose of attaching said jack to one side of a structural support. The apparatus comprises a base and a holder. The base has a device to mount the base on the structural support. The holder is pivotally connected at one end to the base for displacement between a first location above said structural support and a second location at said one side. The holder has a receiver operable in a closed position to retain the jack as the holder is pivoted between said locations in order to position the jack for attachment to said one side of the structural support. The receiver is actuatable to an open position for removal of the holder from the jack after said attachment. The holder is displaceable from said second location back to said first location for removal of the apparatus from the support.

Abstract:

A coated paper product including a paper layer and a polymer layer, wherein the polymer layer includes a polylactide polymer composition having a ratio of Mz to Mn of greater than about 6. The polymer composition, when melted, exhibits a die swell of greater than about 1. 25 for a melt flow index of greater than about 2. Polymer lactide compositions, methods of manufacturing the polymer composition and the coated paper product, and articles produced therefrom are also described.
