Abstract:

A system including at least one computer configured as a server that contains a database of deal information, business rules, libraries and templates for deals for at least one business entity is provided. The system further includes at least one client system connected to the server through a network. The server is configured to prompt a user to create a deal, including identifying deal team members, notify members of the deal team of tasks to perform and milestones accomplished, receive documents relating to a deal from a client system that are submitted for approval by a user, and provide access to the deal documents through a client system for review and approval.

A method for supporting, streamlining and standardizing a deal-making process using a deal managing and processing system includes the steps of creating a new deal profile, creating a deal prospect user interface, updating a status of prospects based upon a prospects response and using system based tool to guide a deal team through the deal-making process. In one embodiment, personal portals are configured for prospective customers to access deal information. In another embodiment, personalized web pages are configured to attract prospects for business.

This is accomplished by monitoring for a “spike” in interchange qualifications and generating an alert when one or more spikes are detected. Spikes in interchange qualifications are defined as a variation in interchange qualifications compared with an historical level. The method and system may also monitor changes in cost or efficiency for other types of transactions in which the cost or efficiency of the transaction is based directly upon one or more variables.
