Abstract:

The embodiments herein provide a device for sealing an interface having an opening for a wire to pass through the interface. A pair of sealing blocks may be used where one block contains a protrusion and the opposing block contains a recess. The protrusion and recess preferably have an apex with a round having approximately the same dimension as the radius of the wire. A pair of posts may be positioned on opposing sides of the opening. One sealing block may contain an aperture for accepting one of the posts while the second sealing block may contain an aperture for accepting the opposing post. The posts may be threaded so that they can accept a threaded fastener. Exemplary embodiments may utilize mounting plates which may contain a flange such that squeezing the opposing flanges together can cause inward forces on the sealing blocks.

Interchangeable display assemblies are provided. A frame is configured to interchangeably accept any one of a number of digital side assemblies, each including an electronic display, a number of static side assemblies, each including a poster cavity which accepts signage, and a number of cover side assemblies at a first portion and any other one of the number of digital side assemblies, the number of static side assemblies, and the number of cover side assemblies at a second portion thereof.

An interchangeable display system and method is provided. A first and second side assembly are each selected from a number of: digital side assemblies each comprising an electronic display, static side assemblies each comprising a poster cavity which accepts signage, and cover side assemblies. The first and second side assemblies are interchangeably mounted to a frame. When one of the side assemblies is in need of replacement, it is removed from the frame and a replacement is installed.

Abstract:

A first and second display assembly are moveably mounted to a frame. At least one of the display assemblies includes a cover, an electronic display located behind the cover, and a first and second channel. A fixed plate is attached to the frame and positioned entirely within a cavity located between the display assemblies and the frame. The cavity and the first channel are part of a closed loop pathway, while the second channel is part of an open loop pathway. The closed loop is sealed when the display assemblies are in a closed position, and the fixed plate is accessible when the display assemblies are in an open position.

A rear channel is located behind the second channel. A first plurality of subchannels are located within the center channel and connect only to the front channel. The exemplary embodiments herein provide a figure eight closed loop of circulating gas pathways wrapping around an electronic display. One or more open loop ambient air pathways may pass through the figure eight but do not allow the circulating gas and the ambient air to mix. In some embodiments, the open loop ambient air pathway travels along a rear surface of the electronic display. In some embodiments, the circulating gas pathways contain a front channel placed in front of the electronic display, a rear channel placed behind the electronic display, and a center channel placed between the front and rear channels. Pass-through apertures may be placed within the path of the circulating gas and/or the ambient air to allow the paths of the two gaseous matters to cross without allowing them to mix with one another.
