A method and apparatus for assembling multiple component products using automated assembly equipment having predetermined locations for loading of components or component compartments. The invention includes a component identifier which reads indicia of component identity from components or component compartments, and a location indicator which indicates a proper location for loading and identified component or component compartment. The invention also contemplates a sensor that senses the placement of components or component compartments in the locations of the assembly machine, and a disabling device which disables the assembly machine if components or component compartments are misplaced.
Modular Contaminate Capture And Sterilization Apparatus And Method
An apparatus and method are provided for capturing and sterilizing contaminants, such as viruses and the like. Air containing the contaminants is drawn into the apparatus that comprises a housing having a customized number and arrangement of dissimilar treatment chambers to remove a particular contaminate targeted for removal. The treatment chambers are selected from a group of pre manufactured, self-contained chambers that are singularly or in combination inserted into the housing and within an air flow path created by a fan. The group of treatment chambers include a UV chamber, a temperature chamber and an ozone converter chamber. The customized arrangement of treatment chambers are each placed in the air flow path and programmed to provide customized sterilization of any type of contaminate while persons are present in the space being treated.

Abstract:
A coding apparatus is mounted on a jumper cable. The coding apparatus includes a plurality of coding symbols. A selection mechanism is part of the coding apparatus and is operable to reveal a selected plurality of coding symbols of the plurality of coding symbols. The selected plurality of coding symbols, in combination, provide a code identifying a connection location for the jumper cable.

Abstract:
A connector assembly for an antenna which includes an antenna cover. The connector assembly includes a connector mount with one or more connectors and a connector housing enclosing the connectors. The connector mount extends through an opening in the antenna cover with sufficient clearance to allow movement due to difference in thermal expansion between the antenna cover and the antenna structure. The assembly also includes a flexible seal structure attached to the connector mount and attachable to the antenna cover and dimensioned to enclose a portion of the connector mount extending outside the antenna cover to form a flexible weather resistant seal between the antenna cover and the connector mount while allowing movement of the connector mount relative to the antenna cover.
Methods And Apparatuses For Testing Capacitive Touch Screen Films
Test fixtures for testing layers of touch screen material and methods for using the same. Some test fixtures include first and second test beds that are movable relative to each other, an impedance measurement circuit, an electrical connector, a clamping actuator, and a processor, where the test fixtures and/or test fixture components are configured to secure a layer of touch screen material and measure the electrical impedance of at least one feature of the layer. Some of the present methods include securing a layer of touch screen material between test beds, calculating an electrical impedance of at least one feature of the layer, and releasing the layer from the test beds.

Abstract:
Semiconductor devices are described that employ techniques configured to control adhesive application between a substrate and a die. In an implementation, a sacrificial layer is provided on a top surface of the die to protect the surface, and bonds pads thereon, from spill-over of the adhesive. The sacrificial layer and spill-over adhesive are subsequently removed from the die and/or chip carrier. In an implementation, the die includes a die attach film (DAF) on a bottom surface of the die for adhering the die to the cavity of the substrate. The die is applied to the cavity with heat and pressure to cause a portion of the die attach film (DAF) to flow from the bottom surface of the die to a sloped surface of the substrate cavity.

"The deliveries are scheduled from 2022 and these are additional firm orders," ACG CEO Khanh Tran said at the Paris Airshow, confirming this was a new order, and not a conversion from an existing deal for one of Boeing's other models.
