Abstract:

The invention provides an uncooked, unspun intimately mixed confectionery composition having sufficient internal cohesively to be handled without losing its integrity as a mass, said composition being substantially free of unbound water and having substantially no phase separation of moisture, containing:(i) a saccharide based component; (ii) a hydrated hydrobinding component having a water activity substantially less than about 0. 75, in combination with a humectant, and a (iii) fat component having a melting point substantially in the range of about 28 to about 45 degrees centigrade for providing a soft yet substantially unsticky chew texture for the composition.

Abstract:

Systems and methods for a self-regulating power supply for MEMS thermal actuators to achieve maximum actuator displacement while preventing over powering. The present invention includes a power supply configured to regulate electrical input power to a MEMS thermal actuator in order to provide the maximum possible electrical input power. Accordingly, the present invention provides a maximum actuator displacement while preventing device failure from over powering. The present invention utilizes resistivity versus temperature properties for silicon or the like to provide a self-regulating power supply that can be utilized to power a variety of MEMS components without requiring custom actuator control circuits for each type of component.

Abstract:

One or more devices within a transaction services hub receive, from a first network device, provisioning information for customers of a transaction services network. The one or more devices also receive, from a second network device, first session data for transaction services using an Internet Protocol (IP) network, and receive, from a third network device, second session data for transaction services using a voice network. The one or more devices load, in a database, the provisioning information, the first session data, and the second session data, and merge, based on the provisioning information, the first session data and the second session data. The merged data is retrieved to support request from administrators and customers via other components of the transaction services hub.

A method may include receiving a first message from a transaction device via an intermediate component, the first message requesting an authorization or a settlement of a transaction. The method may also include emulating a customer host device based on a first portion of the first message, generating a second message via the emulation, and routing the second message via a persistent socket that forms a communication link with the customer host device. One or more network devices send to a user device a user interface with options for configuring a network to provide transaction services between transaction devices and host processing devices. The user interface is accessible to the user device via a private network connection. A device may include a transaction web server. The transaction server may be configured to receive a hypertext markup language HTTP message that includes information sent from a transaction device, determine whether the message is a request to authorize a transaction or a request to settle a transaction, route a first portion of the HTTP message to a customer device to obtain an authorization from the customer device when the HTTP message is a request to authorize the transaction, and route a second portion of the HTTP message to the customer device to settle the transaction when the HTTP message is a request to settle a transaction.
