Optimizing the assignment of vehicles in a fleet across a pool of customers. Identifying a pool of customers to be included in an assignment event and identifying available vehicles. Cull the domain of potential assignment scenarios by filtering out undesired matches. Score the generated scenarios based on various desired factors and then rank the scenarios. Select one or more optimal scenarios and analyze for week spots. Bolster the week spots by interacting with one or more customers to identify alternate solutions. Select and implement the optimal scenario.

Abstract:

In a subscription vehicle system that enables customers to select and swap between a fleet of available vehicles, the vehicles are evaluated to identify which vehicles would be the best fit in view of a customer request and other information pertaining to the customer. The customer request and information is examined to identify particular attributes that are being sought. Based on these attributes, the available vehicles are assigned a score that reflects the level of satisfaction that the vehicle is anticipated to provide for the customer. The vehicles with the highest scores can be considered as candidates for fulfilling the customer request.

Abstract:

A system and method for dynamically obtaining and evaluating information to optimize the generation of vehicle suggestions for a customer. A profile based on an initial set of information received from a user is created. Metrics are generated based on the profile information. Upon receiving a vehicle request, the profile and the request are analyzed in view of available vehicles. A customer's response to the vehicle suggestion list, as well as events triggered by a perceived need for additional information result in the dynamic adjustment of the profile and thus, the generated metrics.
