Abstract:

A drill bit configured for boring holes or wells into the earth include a plurality of blades configured with a recessed center such that the blades cut a core therebetween. Cutting elements in the recessed center are configured to cut and remove the core. The recessed center has a first diameter at a height from the cutting elements in the recessed center and a second diameter smaller than the first diameter such that the confining stress on the core is relieved prior to being cut by the cutting elements in the recessed center.

Abstract:

A drill bit assembly for boring including a drill bit and a bit sub. A front bit end has a plurality cutting elements at a forward face of the front bit end and a first fluid return passage extending through the drill bit to a rear bit end. The bit sub couples to the rear bit end. The bit sub includes a bore disposed at a front sub end sized and shaped to receive the rear bit end of the drill bit. A plurality of legs extends from a mid-sub region toward the front sub end between pairs of cutting elements. The plurality of legs has a fluid delivery passage disposed therein with the fluid delivery passage extending from the plurality of legs to a rear sub bit end. The bit sub has a second fluid return passage connecting the first fluid return passage to the rear sub bit end.

This disclosure provides systems and methods for lockout-tagout procedures and systems supporting the same, including, without limitation, lockout devices that can store and maintain digital locks simultaneously by multiple keyholders. In various embodiments, a single user can add multiple keyholders to a digital lock. The user may not be able to remove anyone as a keyholder except herself. Thus, the digital lock may remain in a locked state until each of the added keyholders applies their digital key, password, pin, and/or other personal identifying information to unlock the digital by removing themselves as a keyholder.

Abstract:

A helmet includes a housing sized for use on a human head and having an opening designed to expose a face associated with the human head and a facemask attached to the housing and situated over the opening to cover the face. The facemask has a slightly curved front portion, a slightly curved right side portion, and a slightly curved left side portion. The facemask has a plurality of substantially vertically oriented bars having different widths. The vertically oriented bars include a first type having a first width, a second type having a second width that is larger than the first width, and a third type having a third width that is larger than the first and second widths. The left and right side portions of the facemask include a first type bar and a second type bar, where the second type bar is situated nearer to the housing than the first type bar. The front portion of the facemask includes four first type bars, for example, two on a left side of the front portion and two on a right side of the front portion. A single third type bar is situated in a right side transitional region between the front portion and the right side portion of the facemask and in a left side transitional region between the front portion and the left side portion.

A method for tracking a cinematography target that has been associated with an emitter can comprise receiving an indication to track a particular identifier. The particular identifier can be associated with an object of interest. The method can further comprise identifying, using at least one tracker component, a direction associated with the particular identifier. Abstract:

A system for tracking a cinematography target comprises an emitter configured to attach to a target and to provide a tracking indicator. The system also comprises a tracker configured to receive tracking data from a separate tracking data reception device and based upon the received tracking data to actuate one or more motors that cause an attached cinematography device to point towards the tracking indicator. Further, the tracking data reception device can be configured to generate information relating to the location of the tracking indicator. In particular, the tracking data reception device can comprise one or more sensor modules that are configured to identify a location of the tracking indicator relative to the tracking data reception device. The system can also comprise a user interface device configured to receive commands from a user and communicate the commands to the tracker.
