Description:
Helping people gives Larson Gafney great joy. In fact, some would say she is a go-to problem solver. She says, "Most times if someone comes to me with a problem or question, I can find the answer or show that person where to find the answer." It's no wonder – with seven children there is always an answer to be found. Larson and her husband arrived to the Clarksville area in 2004 when they were assigned to Ft Campbell. After more than 20 years in the Army, they then decided it was time for her husband to retire – and what better place than Clarksville, a place that Larson described as "the biggest small town in the South". She especially enjoys Historic Downtown Clarksville and the southern hospitality that she says makes people feel so welcome in Clarksville. "Walking past strangers on the street, many people say hi. When you drive past someone on a rural road, people often wave." she said. Larson also enjoys the popular shopping outlets and restaurants offered by the Wilma Rudolph side of town. Between Larson and her husband, their family includes seven children ranging in age from one year old to 20 years old. With all of the noise, their house can be crazy at times, but Larson often says she wouldn't change it for the world. She loves the fast pace, since there is always someone heading to karate, soccer, baseball, or just a trip to the playground. One thing she especially values, though, is dinner time. She says, "It is the one time we can all sit down, talk about the day and continue to grow and know one another." The Gafney's enjoy activities they can share as a family, such as taking walks and visiting the beach. She also loves a good date night with her husband – going to see a good movie, sharing a popcorn and soda together. Larson and her family like to stay active in the community. She is an active Care Team member for the military. If needed, she volunteers her time to support the spouses of Soldiers that have been wounded or lost. It is important to Larson to beResourceful, hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy; as she gets great satisfaction from knowing she has helped someone solve a problem. That's why real estate is the perfect fit – Larson loves to work hard for her clients and find them the perfect property.
