Abstract:

A method is disclosed for suspending an implement such as a tool having an elongated handle or the like on a wall or similar supporting structure. A hanger is provided which comprises a loop of flexible but relatively nonstretchable material secured to the supporting structure or to a bracket or base mounted on the supporting structure with the bight of the loop inclined at an angle of at least 30. degree. to the horizontal. The loop is dimensioned relative to the size of the handle so that the handle when inclined in the opposite direction may be readily inserted through the loop and when returned to vertical position will twist the loop and be securely gripped thereby.

Abstract:

A vegetation trimmer having a blade guard including a drive motor and an elongated drive shaft coupled to the drive motor, the drive shaft disposed within a shaft housing having first and second ends, the first end of the shaft housing coupled to the drive motor and a power head coupled to a second end thereof. The vegetation trimmer also including a blade guard coupled to the power head assembly, and a cutting blade attached to an output shaft of the power head assembly for rotation relative to the blade guard. The cutting blade being rotatable relative to the blade guard for cutting vegetation when the vegetation trimmer is operational. The blade guard having a diameter larger than a diameter of the cutting blade for protecting the blade as well as structures near or against where the vegetation trimmer is used. The blade guard defining a plurality of shear openings.

An adjustable hanger device including a base plate mountable to a support surface, and an elongated slide bar attached to the base plate and spaced apart therefrom. The hanger device includes a flexible strap, a first end of the strap is attached to an end of the slide bar, a length of the strap being disposed at a first angle relative to the length of the slide bar. An adjustable fastener is provided to adjustably secure the strap to the slide bar at a point between the first and second ends of the strap, the strap being twisted axially to form a spiral loop, the loop defining an opening disposed at a second angle relative to the length of the side bar; and wherein an implement can be supported via the hanger device by inserting the handle into the loop and allowing the implement to return to a vertical position.
