Abstract:

Method for manufacturing a polymer article having a thin carbon coating formed on at least one of its sides by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition, this method including: a first step, corresponding to a time T when the treatment pressure is reached in the treatment area, the reactive fluid being injected in the treatment area; a second step, corresponding to a time T during which electromagnetic field is applied in the treatment area, characterized in that time T is around 1.5 second, time T being around 1.2 second, the reactive fluid being a carbon precursor in the gaseous state, its flow being of around 100 sccm.
