A method is described that corrects incorrect text associated with recognition errors in computer-implemented speech recognition. The method includes the step of performing speech recognition on an utterance to produce a recognition result for the utterance. The command includes a word and a phrase. The method includes determining if a word closely corresponds to a portion of the phrase. A speech recognition result is produced if the word closely corresponds to a portion of the phrase.

The disclosure provides assay systems for evaluating the presence of bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) activity in a cell by evaluating the gene expression of secreted Frizzled Related Protein 2 and 3 (sFRP2 and sFRP3). The sFRP2 and sFRP3 gene expression may be detected at the RNA or protein levels. The methods include methods for evaluating exogenous and endogenous BMP expression and utilize both genomic sFRP2 and sFRP3 genes and reporter constructs.

The present invention provides compositions of Ig fusion proteins, especially compositions including an Ig fusion protein, a bulking agent, a disaccharide, a surfactant, and a buffer. In one aspect, these compositions are stable under long-term storage or at least one freeze/thaw cycle. The invention also provides methods of preparation of the Ig fusion protein compositions. In one aspect, compositions of the invention are lyophilized. In a further aspect, the compositions are lyophilized by a process that includes an annealing step.

Abstract:

A retrofit-style lamp is disclosed. The retrofit-style lamp includes a plurality of light sources, and a one-dimensional linear batwing lens. The one-dimensional linear batwing lens beam shapes light emitted by at least two light sources of the plurality of light sources. The retrofit-style lamp also includes a housing including the plurality of light sources, and attached to the one-dimensional linear batwing lens. The combination of housing and lens is then itself fitted with endcaps, including electrical connectors, for placement within a fixture, such as within an existing conventional fluorescent tube fixture located within a storage structure, for example a refrigeration case. Alternatively, the plurality of light sources, the one-dimensional linear batwing lens, and the housing may be formed, along with a power supply, as a standalone retrofit fixture for use in enclosed storage structures, such as refrigeration cases, where the retrofit fixture replaces a conventional fluorescent fixture.

According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, apparatus and method can be provided for determining information regarding a tissue or an object at or within the tissue. The present invention provides, among other things, stable formulations for small modular immunopharmaceutical (SMIP™) proteins. In some embodiments, the present invention provides a formulation containing a lyophilized mixture of a small modular immunopharmaceutical protein, wherein less than 7% of the lyophilized small modular immunopharmaceutical protein exists in aggregated form.
