Abstract:

A thermal sink is used to recover heat from a product gas leaving an adsorption vessel in a thermal swing adsorption process. Heat that is recovered from the product gas is used to heat a regeneration gas during the subsequent regeneration of the adsorbent material within the adsorption vessel. The step in which the regenerated bed of adsorbent material is cooled prior to returning to adsorption mode is eliminated.

Abstract:

In accordance with the invention, a light emitting diode package assembly is provided to emulate the pattern of light produced by an incandescent filament bulb. The package assembly is composed of a substrate for LEDs comprising a heat-sinking base having a pair of opposing major surfaces. Each major surface has an overlying of thermally conducting ceramic and an outer surface layer of light reflective material. Disposed on each surface layer is a plurality of LEDs. Advantageously, the LEDs are arranged on the surface in a configuration of low mutual obstruction. Advantageously, reflecting elements transverse to each surface layer are positioned and shaped to reflect a substantial portion of the light emitted from the LEDs that would otherwise enter neighboring LEDs. In a preferred embodiment, the LEDs are arranged in the general form of a closed curve, and a transverse reflector is disposed in the interior of the curve. Alternatively, the LEDs can be arranged in a linear array.

A method, system and computer program product are disclosed for providing an integrated solution to a set of supply chain optimization problems. In one embodiment, the method comprises defining a distribution network, vehicle routing, inventory positioning, and environmental sustainability for a supply chain; and combining an optimization of the distribution network, the vehicle routing, the inventory positioning, and the environmental sustainability into a single problem. Systems and processes for operating a digital assistant are provided. An example process for performing a task includes, at an electronic device having one or more processors and memory, receiving a spoken input including a request, receiving an image input including a plurality of objects, selecting a reference resolution module of a plurality of reference resolution modules based on the request and the image input, determining, with the selected reference resolution module, whether the request references a first object of the plurality of objects based on at least the spoken input, and in accordance with a determination that the request references the first object of the plurality of objects, determining a response to the request including information about the first object.
