I was a contract phlebotomist for the Federal Correctional Institute in Victorville, Ca. and for them I utilized their computer system to schedule the inmates to be drawn. I processed all the specimans and packaged them for shipment. I also processed all the lab results. I also processed the urine samples and different forms of cultures and biopsies. Also performed waive testing. As a paramedical examiner I went to homes of those who filed for life insurance and I drew their blood, collected urine samples, did EKG's and filled out medical history forms. As a medical assistant I did the following: Injections, vital signs, EKG's, holter monitors, treadmills, PFT's, allergy testing, phlebotomy, typing, filing, UA's, Bat testing, urine drug screens, autoclaving, DMV physicals, immunizations, assisted physicians in procedures and surgeries, scheduled diagnostic exams and appointment, scheduled referrals, maintained and ordered supplies, computer skills and some billing.
