Throughout the years, I have had several jobs, but Real Estate, is too much fun to be called a job. I thoroughly enjoy every part of it from the marketing to the closing -even sitting for several hours at an open house. Real Estate is just exciting! Severalyears ago, I decided I wanted to get my Real Estate license, when several of my aunts had just done the same. My uncle, Alan Keffer, had his own brokerage, Keffer Realty. I knew that would be the perfect place for me, and that he could really teach me a lot.I e-mailed him to see if there would be room for me if I went to real estate school, and his reply was, "Of course". In July 2011, Alan approached me with a new Real Estate opportunity- being his assistant and still being an agent. Knowing how much I enjoy real estate,it was an opportunity I could not pass up. Today, I am the Managing Broker of our branch at 335 Centerville Turnpike in Chesapeake.This is the most rewarding job I have ever had. I specialize in residential real estate. I promise to put your best interest first, work hard and tirelessly FOR you, and be available to you whenever needed. As your real estate broker, I will walk you through the process step by step, give you my professional opinion, but will not interfere in the decision making processes– this is your home and your future, decision making is all up to you. On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my husband and four children, along with all of our animals! My children are involved in theChesapeake 4-H Livestock Club raising breeding ewes, market lambs, market goats, and market hogs. We also have pet pygmy goats, chickens, dogs, cats, and even a miniature donkey! Sitting in the yard with our animals is very relaxing to me. The pride I feel when my children are showing their animals in a ring, or even just getting up extra early on school mornings to feed their animals before themselves, anddoing good deeds for the community by being involved in 4-H is priceless.
