Abstract:
Illuminated tweezers with flexible extension and magnifying mirror ( ) utilized for the extraction of unwanted facial hair. The present hair removal device includes a housing ( ) encasing a battery or other electrical source and being adapted to accommodate a folding, hinged mirror ( ). The housing is coupled to an elongated flexible extension ( ) having illuminated tweezers ( ) at the distal end ( ). A light source ( ) is included in the base of the tweezers ( ) such that it emits light toward the prongs of the tweezers ( ). The housing ( ) and the distal end ( ) of the flexible extension ( ) containing the illuminated tweezers ( ) can each be positioned and oriented independently of one another allowing a single user to operate the device. The housing ( ) is formed with a peripheral groove ( ) for accommodating the flexible extension ( ) and attached illuminated tweezers ( ) so that the flexible extension ( ) can be wrapped around the housing ( ) for storage to provide a compact configuration for use. Another embodiment of the kit ( ) includes a compact ( ) having a lid ( ), one or more magnifying mirrors ( ), a body ( ), illuminated tweezers ( ), a receptacle ( ) for the tweezers, one or more optional cosmetic reservoirs ( ), one or more optional cosmetic applicators ( ), one or more optional receptacles ( ) for the one or more applicators, and an optional light source ( ) in the compact.
