Abstract:

Illuminated tweezers with flexible extension and magnifying mirror ( ) utilized for the extraction of unwanted facial hair. The present hair removal device includes a housing ( ) encasing a battery or other electrical source and being adapted to accommodate a folding, hinged mirror ( ). The housing is coupled to an elongated flexible extension ( ) having illuminated tweezers ( ) at the distal end ( ). A light source ( ) is included in the base of the tweezers ( ) such that it emits light toward the prongs of the tweezers ( ). The housing ( ) and the distal end ( ) of the flexible extension ( ) containing the illuminated tweezers ( ) can each be positioned and oriented independently of one another allowing a single user to operate the device. The housing ( ) is formed with a peripheral groove ( ) for accommodating the flexible extension ( ) and attached illuminated tweezers ( ) so that the flexible extension ( ) can be wrapped around the housing ( ) for storage to provide a compact configuration for use.
