Abstract:

A digital image display device for displaying a sequence of digital media assets, the digital media assets including both individual digital still images and groups of related digital still images, comprising a display screen; a processor; and a processor-accessible program memory. The processor-accessible program memory stores executable instructions for causing the processor to execute the steps of: designating a sequence of digital media assets; and sequentially displaying each digital media asset in the sequence of digital media assets on the display screen, wherein if a displayed digital media asset is an individual digital still image it is displayed for a specified display time duration, and if a displayed digital media asset is a group of related digital still images the display time duration is subdivided and each of the digital still images in the group of related digital still images is displayed for a corresponding display time duration fraction.

A digital camera system for capturing and reviewing a group of related digital still images, comprising: an image sensor for capturing a digital image; a user interface including one or more user interface elements; a storage memory; and a program memory storing instructions configured to cause a data processing system to implement a method for capturing and reviewing a group of related digital still images. A digital camera having a user interface that automatically adapts to its environment, comprising: an image sensor for capturing a digital image; an optical system for forming an image of a scene onto the image sensor; one or more environmental sensors; a configurable user interface; a data processing system; a storage memory for storing captured images; and a program memory communicatively connected to the data processing system and storing instructions configured to cause the data processing system to implement a method for adaptively configuring the user interface. Abstract:

An audio system and method for establishing wireless data connections between a case and at least one wearable audio device is provided. The audio system can establish a first wireless data connection between the case and the wearable audio device and establish a second wireless data connection between the case and the internet. The case, in addition to electrical energy storage capacity or battery bank capabilities, can directly communicate with the internet to receive update data directly from a remote server and can pass on update data to wearable audio devices without the need for a peripheral device such as a smart phone or tablet operating an affiliated software application. The audio system provided allows for information, data, and functionality to be passed between the wearable audio devices and cloud-based services, via the case, including social networking, messaging, music services, news, entertainment, and Voice-Over-Internet-Protocol (VOIP) communication services.

Abstract:

A computer-implemented method, system and instructions. A component associated with a user account management system for a streaming media player is integrated within a host application on a control device. The host application is configured to cause the provision of streaming media content. The user account management system is configured to cause the storage of an association of streaming media content with a preset. The control device comprises a user interface (UI) that comprises a preset access feature and is configured to allow a user to interact with both the host application and the user account management system. An association of streaming media content with a preset access feature is determined, where this association is accomplished by the user via the control device UI. In response, an association of streaming media content with the preset is stored, for example in a cloud-based user account.
