Education:
University of Pennsylvania 1986 - 1990
Truly a great time in my life. Highly motivated students, the best faculty. I entered through the CGS program and signed up for every Wharton Course I could get my hands on. Even though I had a higher degree of personal self discipline by the time I arrived at Penn, I still lacked the daily habits to yield the maximum from this experience. However, I fell in Love, got married, had two children, worked two jobs, and yes... I still tried to manage being at one of the most competitive academic institutions in the world, yet I was unable to walk away from Penn with a degree. I learned an incredible amount, started two business ventures, both successful. One of which fell pray to "Steven Glass" and his serial lies which became a national story, and major picture. He got his 15 min of fame, and hurt me and many others in the process. The worst part is he made money off of it "The Fabulist" I left Penn as a result, and have carried that burden ever since.
University of Bridgeport 1984 - 1985
Major, EconomicsOVERVIEW: Pushed myself way to hard, before I had any understanding of what college was about, I ran for class president and won, I enrolled in 22 credits, working two jobs, ROTC, Delta Chi, etc. Had to much to prove to others and myself. So did I learn to take it easy second semester, no, 24 credits, and now in charge of the major student fund raiser for cancer.

US ARMY - BT 1982 - 1982
BT: I was the easiest soldier the US Army had received that year. I was ready for the Army life. I was ready for change. Determined to make something of myself. I almost failed BT, thank God for the DI who counted the worst of my feeble pushups.
MEPS: The med physician looked at my knees (surgery apparent) asked if I had surgery, I said no (I lied), he asked again, I said no (lied again)told him that the ARMY was all I had,my only chance left, I had nothing else in life and would serve God and Country with everything I had. 111111 (if you know what i mean).
Tamalpais High School 1977 - 1982
Major:, Life and Love
Galileo HS 1978 - 1979
FR YEAR:
All areas of my life were failing, I had no clue about life, and no direction.
ACADEMIC: I witnessed my first attempetd murder, the shooting happened just inches away, which was part of the Wah Ching and Joe Boy wars in the city (over firecrackers, seems silly). I didnt understand anything that was going on in my life, and was scared most of the time. I remember walking around the outside of the school to avoid the halls, and I kept my eyes south, at all times. Didn't / couldn't concentrate on school or anything academic.
