Abstract:
A method is provided for generating a graph data representation having a plurality of nodes corresponding to respective systems engineering requirements. The method includes accessing a first data representation of a collection of systems requirements and relationships therebetween and generating a second data representation of the collection of systems requirements. The generating the second data representation includes accessing respective systems requirements of the collection of systems requirements; creating a node to correspond to each accessed systems requirement if a node corresponding to the accessed systems requirement does not exist; and creating an edge between the created or pre-existing node and each node corresponding to a systems requirement having a relationship with the accessed systems requirement. Each node of the second data representation is a node of said graph data representation and corresponds to a different systems requirement of the collection of systems requirements.

Abstract:
Towed vehicles can be extremely heavy. Accordingly, it is too much of a burden to the braking system of a towing vehicle to not have brakes on the towed vehicle. Controlling the brakes of the towed vehicle must be accurately applied otherwise undesirable conditions can be created. There is a need for a method for controlling braking of a towed vehicle. This method comprises receiving a first signal via a communication bus of a towing vehicle, the first signal relating to at least one operating condition of at least one the towing vehicle and a towed vehicle, sending a second signal to brakes of the towed vehicle, the second signal based on said first signal.

Abstract:
A trailer mounted proportional brake controller for a towed vehicle and a method of controlling the brakes of a towed vehicle is described. The brake control unit may control the brakes of a towed vehicle. The brake control unit may include a power control unit and a hand control unit. The power control unit may be connected to the brakes of the towed vehicle and the power control unit may be capable of selectively controlling the brakes of the towed vehicle based on a set of braking parameters. The hand control unit may be configured to remotely communicate with the power control unit. The hand control unit may be capable of transmitting information to the power control unit to adjust at least one of the braking parameters and receiving information from the power control unit.

Abstract:
A system and method for ontology-enhanced traceability in design and management applications employ ontology nodes embedded in a processor executable traceability link (network) coupling processor executable requirement modules to processor executable engineering object modules to facilitate in all stages of engineering object development. The engineering object development occurs through multiple models of computation, control, and visualization platform networked together via ontology-enhanced traceability mechanism. Processor executable design rule checking module embedded in the design concept nodes creates a pathway for the development process validation and verification at early stages of the object lifecycle. Linking of ontologies/meta-models is performed for the purposes of supporting ontology-enabled traceability across multiple domains.
Electronic Circuit For Automatic Compensation Of A Sensor Output Signal

International Classification:

US Classification:

Abstract:
An electronic circuit dynamically compensates a sensor output signal subject to varying conditions. In particular, the circuitry dynamically determines the DC offset level of an incoming sensor analog output signal. The DC amplitude or offset level varies as a result of changing conditions, such as speed, airgap, alignment and temperature. The circuitry compares the DC offset level with the original sensor analog output signal by way of a comparator to provide a digital output signal with a zero DC offset, which compensates for the varying conditions.

Abstract:
A boat lift controller may include a digital switch, a power-isolation relay, and a motor-direction-select relay, together which control a motor. The digital switch may provide power to the power-isolation relay. The power-isolation relay may provide power to the motor-direction-select relay and to the motor. The motor-direction-select relay may control the direction in which the shaft of the motor turns.
