Abstract:

A computer system includes a computer processor and logic instructions for rapid integration of data storage subsystems. An adapter factory is instantiated in response to a request from a client computer. The adapter factory is configured to provide a generic persistent data storage (Pds) adapter interface to the client computer. The Pds adapter interface interfaces to a specific adapter. The Pds adapter interface is configured to invoke corresponding data source operations in the specific adapter. A generic Pds data source interface is configured between the specific adapter and a specific data source.

An example method includes receiving data to be provided to an application using a scoring model for calculating a score, determining that the data is incompatible with a current feature set of the scoring model applied by the application, receiving a next best model of features in response to the determining that the data is incompatible with the current feature set, executing the application to calculate the score with the data and the features of the next best model, and generating an output in accordance with the score.

Facilitating pre-positioning of streaming content onto communication devices is provided herein. A system can comprise a processor and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations. The operations can comprise facilitating an identification of a first multimedia content stream and a second multimedia content stream. The identification can be based on a usage preference of a defined entity associated with a communication device. The operations can also comprise, in response to a determination that an available network satisfies a defined network criterion, facilitating pre-positioning, at a data store of the communication device, the first multimedia content stream and the second multimedia content stream.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining whether a past throughput of past traffic communicated between a communication device and a communication network meets a first threshold value, resulting in a first determination; responsive to the first determination being that the past throughput meets the first threshold, transmitting an instruction to the communication device to restrict a first subsequent throughput of first subsequent traffic to no greater than a second threshold value; determining whether the first subsequent throughput has been restricted, resulting in a second determination; and responsive to the second determination being that the first subsequent throughput has not been restricted, taking one or more actions to enforce a second subsequent throughput of second subsequent traffic to no greater than a third threshold value, wherein the third threshold value is lower than the second threshold value. Credentials, such as passwords for wireless access points, are managed and shared using blockchain technology. For instance, a transaction may be generated using information and a set of conditions. A requester user device seeking access to a wireless access point may request the password from the blockchain fabric using a unique identifier for the wireless access point and may satisfy other conditions from the set of conditions which determines access to the password by the requester.

Abstract:

Techniques for facilitating cellular or wireless fidelity access point selection are provided. In one example herein a method is provided comprising receiving, by a mobile device comprising a processor, first radio load data associated with a predicted radio load of a first channel of a first wireless device. Based on a first condition associated with the first radio load being determined to have been satisfied, the method can facilitate, by the mobile device, receiving second radio load data, indicative of a current radio load, from a second wireless device. Additionally, in response to a second condition associated with the current radio load being determined to have been satisfied, the method can utilize, by the mobile device, a second channel of the second wireless device for a communication.
