A native New Yorker, Mark comes from a family with deep roots in real estate. Mark attended private schools in Manhattan, and graduated from Institut Le Rosey in Switzerland. He earned a BA from the School of International Service at American University in Washington, D.C. and a Certificate in Real Estate Finance and Investment from the Real Estate Institute at New York University. Active in various charitable endeavors, Mark is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). Mark spent the early part of his career in the Hollywood entertainment industry, which he credits with enabling him to strike a balance between the creative and financial elements one encounters in real estate. He also worked as an exclusive advisor to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices, while living in London and working throughout Europe, Eastern Europe and Russia. Realizing that Real Estate was his ideal outlet, Mark joined a leading development marketing company, where as a Project Manager and Sales Operations Manager, he programmed projects with a market value of $3.5 billion including The Stanhope, 170 East End Avenue, 101 Warren Street, 40 Bond Street, Chelsea Modern, The Lucida, Soho Mews, and 10 West End Avenue, to name a few. In doing so, Mark established a solid foundation in the many facets of marketing and selling the finest residences in the world. Mark went on to achieve further success as Head of Sales at Istithmar Real Estate, the Dubai based sovereign wealth fund where he directed successful international campaigns for luxury residential projects which, under his leadership, achieved sales exceeding $1.5 billion. Ultimately, Mark chose to focus his energy and marketing savvy on an individual basis, valuing the relationships that evolve with each one. Mark J.
