Abstract:

This document describes a system and method for correlating multi-format, omni-directional communications. It deploys an intermediary to facilitate message tracking and assignment used to facilitate subsequent message correlation. Secondarily, it deploys a device registration context whereby message correlation can be done. This system possesses the property that it can be deployed in environments whereby no unique message identifier is available to provide directional correlation and that not all messages must flow through the gateway to be correlated.

Abstract:

Systems and methods are provided for network-based implementation of a calendaring application. A social calendaring application may be implemented amongst users of one or more messaging platforms, such as chat-based text messaging, by a calendar application server. Calendar event configuration, viewing and invitation response mechanisms may be presented to each user on a user device via a web-based user interface. An event may be represented and transmitted within a chat application as a URL, directed to or associated with the calendar application server. A chat application user may select the URL, whereby the calendar server may identify the responding user and present, inter alia, a web-based user interface enabling, e.g., viewing of an event associated with the URL, acceptance of an event invitation, contribution of content to a shared event, viewing of content associated with a shared event, and/or viewing of a personal calendar associated with the responding user.

Abstract:

Systems and methods are provided for a point of sale system that facilitates the development and maintenance of a photo-based record of goods sold or services rendered by the merchant to a consumer. The photo-based records can be beneficially utilized for multiple purposes, including, without limitation, one or more of: providing a historical record to the merchant of goods or services provided; capturing examples of goods or services provided for advertising and marketing purposes; providing consumers with photographic evidence of goods or services within an electronic receipt, potentially strengthening the customer's relationship with the merchant as well as supporting associated charges; enabling seamless, unobtrusive mechanisms for soliciting consumer releases and authorizations for use of the photographic record; and automating authorized publications of the photographic record, such as via posting to one or more social media platforms.
