Abstract:
A dynamic specific absorption rate (SAR) may be implemented by monitoring and controlling power utilization of the various radio frequency (RF) emitting components over time within a mobile device. Power utilization may be tracked and modified to control the time-averaged RF exposure over a rolling time window. Periodically calculations of the updated rolling averages for RF transmissions may be performed based on the transmission data received from the mobile device components, and the continuously updated rolling averages of RF transmissions may be compared to time-average power utilization limits. Based on such comparisons, the mobile device may dynamically adjust the current transmissions of the radio transceivers and other RF emitting components on the mobile device.

Abstract:
Manners of complying with SAR limits at a user equipment (UE) configured to establish a first communication connection using a first radio and a second communication connection using a second radio. The UE determines that a first application associated with the first communication connection is to be prioritized over a second application associated with the second communication connection, determines a specific absorption rate (SAR) value associated with the UE and modifies, responsive to the SAR value associated with the UE, a parameter associated with the first radio or the second radio based on at least the priority of the first application relative to the second application.

Abstract:
A wireless power system may use a wireless power transmitting device to transmit wireless power to a wireless power receiving device. The wireless power transmitting device may have microwave antennas that extend along an axis in a staggered arrangement. In the staggered arrangement, the microwave antennas are positioned on alternating sides of the axis. Each microwave antenna is elongated along a dimension that is perpendicular to the axis. Multiple antennas may overlap a wireless power receiving antenna in the wireless power receiving device. Control circuitry may use oscillator and amplifier circuitry to provide antennas that have been overlapped by the wireless power receiving antenna with drive signals. The drive signals may be adjusted based on feedback from the wireless power receiving device to enhance power transmission efficiency. The system may have a wireless power transmitting device with inductive wireless power transmitting coils.

But lo and behold the Club for Growth which backed such stellar (not!) Senate candidates as Richard Mourdock in 2012 and Sharron Angle in 2010 and losers like Mark Neumann (who did a good job beating up eventual nominee Tommy Thompson in the Wisconsin Senate primary) and Don Stenberg of Nebraska
