Abstract:
A temperature detection and switching assembly comprising a solid state low temperature cut-out, operatively linkable to a remote controller, is provided. Preferably, the solid state low temperature cut-out comprises a plurality of spaced apart programmable temperature switches supported by an elongate flexible substrate. An elongate, flexible yet rugged casing is further provided for housing the solid state low temperature cut-out, as is a mounting fixture comprising a fitting, for receiving the casing, a flange extending therefrom, and a gasket for sealing between the flange and a mounting surface.

Abstract:
Described herein are ways of providing a hearing aid wearer visual indications as to the operating status of the hearing aid. Multi-colored LEDs (light emitting diodes) are operated by the hearing aid's processing circuitry to convey light to an indicator light on the hearing aid enclosure using different colors to indicate different operating statuses. The LEDs may also be used to provide information regarding changes made to operating parameters.

Abstract:
A stator winding temperature sensor including at least one sensing wire for connecting to a stator. The sensor also includes a body, including a core material comprising a polyimide substrate having an acrylic adhesive surrounding at least a portion of the sensing wire, and a laminate material over the core material. The body has a thickness adapted to protect the sensing wire. The sensor includes a lead wire for connecting to an external monitoring device. The sensing wire is electrically connected to the lead wire at a lead step portion of the sensor. The sensor further includes a tab extending from the lead wire and encompassing the lead step, the tab including a flexible zone where the tab is surrounded by a polyimide and an adhesive but is not surrounded by fiberglass.
