About Me: I grew up in the Midwest and came to Whidbey Island by way of Maryland, Colorado and California. Whidbey Island with its beautiful forests, expansive beaches, open prairies, snow capped mountains and Puget Sound is the place that really felt like home to me. I have spent the past eight years establishing relationships and ties throughout the South Whidbey community by participating in Whidbey volunteer organizations such as Soroptimists of South Whidbey Island, Friends of Freeland, Washington Master Gardeners, Whidbey Island Share a Home (WISH), and Hearts and Hammers. I have my B.S. from Ball State University and my M.A. from Butler University in Indiana. After spending a number of years in education, I moved into the business world and have 25 years of sales and business management experience. This experience has developed extensive skill in communications, finance, strategy and project management. My personal interests include traveling with my husband, cooking, gardening, and my pets Molly, Bella and Francesca.
