Abstract:

A multi-configuration golf bag may be used to carry golf clubs while playing golf, or may be used to transport the clubs to and from the golf course in a flat configuration or in a rolled up, compressed configuration. The golf bag has a body formed from a sheet of robust material, such as leather or composite foam with a heat-bonded synthetic surface. Pockets are attached to the inner surface of the body to separate the clubs from each other when the golf bag is in playing configuration. When rolled up in compressed configuration, the body is wrapped tightly about the clubs, securing them within a smaller cylindrical shape. The bag may also be transported in planar configuration, with the golf clubs retained within a hood attached to the top of the body.

Abstract:

A foil for use in hair coloring is made of a substantially rectangular sheet of material. The upper edge of the foil is pinked, forming a zig-zag pattern. The upper surface of the foil contains a hair restraint in proximity to the foil's upper edge, formed of an elongated, rectangular strip of loop material which adheres to the hair. The lower surface of the foil contains a similar elongated rectangular strip of loop material, providing an attachment anchor, which adheres to the scalp of the subject without the stylist having to hold the foil during the entire coloring process. After the foil has been attached to the subject's hair in proximity to a part, hair strands are woven from under the foil, over the upper edge, and held in place by the hair restraint. Coloring is then applied, and the foil folded in half, retaining the hair within the folded foil.

Abstract:

A hair foil and hair holding system for applying hair treatments has a hair anchoring strip close to or aligned with the leading edge of a foil or hair holding appliance, by which it is adhered to the scalp in a hands-free, non-lifting relationship. The strip may be the hook component of a hook and loop fabric fastener system. The leading edge may be pinked to provide a pattern of slots for access for picking and placing hair strands on the foil. The appliance may have provision for attaching a foil blank. The foils may have shoulders extending out wider than the leading edge is long. The foils may have flaps to aid in urging them forward with a pick during usage. The foils or appliances may be made from continuous webs of leading edge or foil material and hair anchoring material.

Abstract:

A hair treatment foil includes a first hook fastener anchoring strip aligned with and proximal to a leading edge of the foil, and a second hook fastener anchoring strip offset from the first strip, the hooks of the second anchoring strip being taller and less dense than the hooks of the first anchoring strip. In embodiments, the hooks of the first anchor strip are offset or randomly placed, and/or the hooks of the second anchor strip are aligned or arranged in a mechanical weave pattern. A push flap is included for urging the foil forward after attachment. The leading edge may be pinked for picking and placing hair on the foil. Shoulders wider than the leading edge may be included. Embodiments include a retaining appliance having a base plate with a hooked fastener anchor strip attached to its underside and a pinked edge for picking of hair from underneath.

A hair treatment kit has a hair foil, a hair holding appliance, and a tool for selecting hair to be treated. Abstract:

A sports activity glove is formed from a flat sheet of material, such as leather, cloth, or synthetic material, and has a wear-resistant outer side and an inner side which contacts the palm of the wearer. The glove contains a thumb hole, and the user inserts a thumb into the thumb hole and wraps the glove about the hand, fastening it at the back of the hand by means of a hook and loop fastener. The inner side of the glove is coated with a pressure-sensitive, heat activating adhesive, which sticks to the hand and prevents the glove from slipping when in use. The adhesive is hypoallergenic to avoid irritating the hand of the wearer. The glove may be put on and taken off repeatedly without reducing the efficacy of the adhesive.

Disclosed in this application is a hair coloring additive and method of use that provides highly accurate and long-lasting hair coloring results. In some aspects, the hair coloring additive uses raw oxidation dye molecules that are sized to enter into the cortex of the hair during the method of application, where they grow and remain trapped. The hair coloring additive and methods of use can be used with multiple types of hair coloring donor products or formulas, including temporary, semi-permanent, demi-permanent and permanent hair colors.
