A life-long resident of Maine, Mary Libby Herbert has combined persistent, creative energy, passion for the state of Maine and extensive knowledge of the real estate market to become one of Maine's most successful real estate brokers since beginning her career in 2002. Since 2003, Herbert has been a leader in sales in the coastal town of Cape Elizabeth as well as other towns in Greater Portland. Herbert's portfolio began with Cape Elizabeth waterfront and extended to property in all of Southern Maine. Her real estate experience encompasses all of Greater Portland, including Portland's West End and the islands of Casco Bay, as well as extensive land development. She works with buyers and sellers in all price ranges and is passionate about the relationships she develops with her clients. Extending beyond her real estate career, is her portfolio of home renovations and she welcomes the opportunity to work on design projects involving complete renovation, interior design and new builds. Herbert re-joined the Portland-based RE/MAX by the Bay in January 2012 (where she had worked from 2003 to 2008) after working at The Swan Agency Sotheby's International Realty and was Sotheby's top producer in Maine for 2011. Herbert was former owner/broker of Mainestyle Realty in Cape Elizabeth from 2009 to 2010 and also had affiliations with Legacy Properties Sotheby's International Realty, RE/MAX by the Bay and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, where she began her real estate career in 2002. A recipient of many distinguished sales awards for Maine and New England, Herbert is known for her unique, independent approach, a sense of humor, and flair for architecture and design. Her interests include writing, design, yoga, skiing, sailing, running, swimming, hiking, reading and collecting art. She resides in Cape Elizabeth.
